Box.net is a website where you can create folders, upload documents into them, and invite other people to edit or use it. This website is good for any class that assigns you a group project. It is very efficient, and it is better than Google Docs because you can work on Excel, PowerPoint, or Word. Google Docs only allows you to work on a Word document. Creating an account is also free, however it only allows you to use a limited amount of space. If you want to have more space for bigger projects, then you have to pay. Also, you can make a lot of folders and invite many people as long as it does not exceed the space limit for the type of membership you get. In conclusion, I believe that this Web 2.0 Tool is great for group projects.

Prezi
Prezi is a great site to create presentations, however there are some minor things that make it a bit difficult to use. The good things about prezi are that it has an unlimited amount of space, the slides can go in any order, and that you can undo as many steps as you want. Some disadvantages are that you can't underline, italicize, and bold letters, it has many glitches, and that it sometimes fails to save. You can make an account on Prezi for free, and it can be made personal or public. However, if you want to upgrade your account and be able to do more things on prezi, then you have to pay a small fee. Also, you can be any age to create an account. This website is not good for collaboration because you cannot invite other people to work on the presentation.. unlike Google Docs, which is a wonderful website to use when working with others. In addition to the anti-collaboration of the website, I also believe that it is not efficient in terms of time. In conclusion, I believe that other programs such as PowerPoint will be better for most projects consisting of a number of slides.

Page Flakes
Page Flakes is a free website to play games, see the weekly forecast, advertisements, and the calender. This website can be accessed anywhere (as long as there's internet connection), and it is private for the user. You can use this site for as long as you want, and you can add multiple pages to it. It wouldn't be very good for projects, but it is convenient to use if you want to be updated on the latest news.

Scribble Maps
Scribble Maps can be used efficiently, easily, and quickly when using it to work on projects. It is great to use for social studies projects when dealing with maps. You can scribble on it, while correcting your mistakes as you go, and make routes throughout the map and make notes. Using it is free, and you can send the map to your friends. You can also create a custom widget and pace markers and text! If you get an account for Scribble Maps Pro (which you can get for free), you can do everything included above AND upload information from Excel. You can also print the map and choose many different languages to use. I really suggest that you try this website!
